Alpaca Tours!

Tour Description: If you want to do something really unique and special, then come have a 45 minute visit with our friendly alpacas and farm animals at Maple Hill Urban Farm in Ottawa!  All participants will have a chance to handle and guide one of our alpacas.  While supervising participants with animals, we will have interactions and feeding.  Finally, we introduce you to the other barn animals such as goats, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, cow, etc. and show you our farm store! FUN FUN FUN. If you choose not to participate in Alpaca interactions you can still be in the tour. All levels of comfort will be customized and adapted. It is important to follow our safety instructions as instructed. Tours happen in all reasonable weather or rescheduled.

One reservation Ticket is good for:

$60 total for 2 adults

~extra children 5-12 yrs old add $10

~extra adults add $15

~Toddlers are free with strict adult supervision

To book a ticket for one person, large groups or other inquiries, we prefer you to send an email rather than a phone call to

Tour Instructions!

Information for arrival and safety instructions are below for all attendees to reference here on our homepage.

~You acknowledge to participate at your own risk, and you all agree to follow our safety instructions on arrival for a successful event.
~Address is 200 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, using google maps!
~Arrive 10 minutes before your tour
~Tours are 45 minutes. Be on time, drive slow up the driveway!

~Meet us in front of the large barn at the top of the driveway. Please wait for instructions before you approach the alpacas for safety reasons.

~Pregnant women or parents with strollers or carriers with children under 5 can observe safely at the sidelines with adult supervising each child, for safety reasons.

~Read and share this website reference with all parties of the tour

~All children 12 and under need adult supervision during tour and with animals.
~Adults need both hands free to visit with an animal safely. While guiding an animal, no cell phones or petting.
~Wear proper footwear or ice cleats. Be prepared for all weather forecasts.
~A clean outhouse is available on site behind the mini red shed coup.
~Alpacas like green lettuces and small pieces or baby carrots, if you want to bring some. We have feed included.
~Farmstore: We have a few alpaca fiber products for sale, our award winning farm honey and honey products.
~Bring a mask to enter the barn if you choose. It’s dusty. If you are feeling sick please stay home.
